FairRVU is an AI-powered physician contract analysis service operated by FairRVU LLC ("FairRVU," "we," "us," or "our"). We help physicians understand whether their employment contract compensation is fair relative to market benchmarks. You can reach us at reports@fairrvu.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use FairRVU:
- Email address — collected at checkout and used to deliver your report and provide account access.
- Contract PDF — the physician employment contract you upload for analysis. This file is processed and then permanently deleted from our servers immediately after your report is generated.
- Specialty and practice information — entered during the upload process to contextualize your analysis.
- Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number.
- Usage data — basic information about how you interact with our site (pages visited, browser type) collected via standard server logs.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To generate and deliver your contract analysis report.
- To send your report PDF via email.
- To provide access to your report through your FairRVU dashboard.
- To respond to support inquiries.
- To improve our analysis models and service quality.
- If you opted in during checkout, to contribute anonymized compensation data to our benchmark database. No personally identifiable information or contract text is included in benchmark data.
4. Contract File Handling
Your uploaded contract PDF is processed solely to generate your analysis report. Once the report is generated, your original contract file is permanently deleted from our storage. We do not retain, sell, or share your contract with any third party. The analysis report itself (not your contract) is stored in your account for your ongoing access.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate FairRVU:
- Supabase — database and authentication. Your email and report data are stored here.
- Stripe — payment processing. All payment data is handled by Stripe and subject to their privacy policy.
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI model used to analyze your contract text. Contract text is sent to Anthropic's API for processing and is subject to Anthropic's data usage policies.
- Resend — email delivery service used to send your report.
6. Data Retention
- Contract files: Deleted immediately after report generation.
- Analysis reports: Retained in your account until you request deletion.
- Email address: Retained as long as you have an active account.
- Payment records: Retained as required by law and Stripe's policies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Opt out of benchmark data contribution at any time.

8. Cookies
FairRVU uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure cloud storage, and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of FairRVU after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
